1 · Getting Started
How do I become a teacher on the platform?
Create a regular user account and complete your profile (bio, photo, language pair, and payout details). Next, open Dashboard → Become a Teacher, read the guidelines, and click Submit. Our team approves new teacher profiles within one business day and you’ll receive a confirmation e‑mail.
What equipment do I need?
- A computer (Windows 10+, macOS 10.13+, Linux)
- Stable broadband (2 Mbps+ upload)
- Headset with noise‑cancelling mic
- Webcam (720 p or higher)
- Latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, or Opera.
2 · Creating & Managing Courses
How do I create my first course?
Go to Teacher Dashboard → Courses → Add New. Enter a title, description, and select Language Learning as the category. Use the drag‑and‑drop Course Builder to add sections, lessons, quizzes, and assignments, then click Publish / Save as Draft.
What lesson formats are supported?
- Video (self‑hosted MP4, YouTube, Vimeo, Presto Player)
- Audio (MP3, WAV)
- Live sessions (Zoom, Google Meet, Jitsi)
- PDFs & slides
- HTML & SCORM packages
- Interactive quizzes, dictations
- File downloads and external links.
Can I schedule content drip?
Yes! When editing a lesson, open Settings → Drip and choose by date, lesson order, or X days after enrolment.
How can I record audio directly in assignments?
Turn on In‑browser recording under Assignments → Settings. Students will see a Record button that captures mic/camera, perfect for pronunciation tasks.
How do I add subtitles or captions?
Upload a .vtt or .srt file in the Captions field of the video block. Multiple caption tracks are supported for multilingual subtitles.
How do I add quizzes and set passing scores?
Inside the Course Builder click Add Quiz → Advanced Quiz. Choose from 8 question types (MCQ, fill‑in‑the‑blank, ordering, dictation, etc.), set a pass mark, time limit, and feedback messages.
3 · Student Engagement & Assessment
How do I host live classes?
Inside a course you can have one or several live lessons at a specific time with all the students.
Select Live Lesson when adding a lesson. Schedule date & time; registered students receive automatic reminders.
How can I track student progress?
Navigate to Teacher Dashboard → Reports for completion rates, quiz scores, time‑spent, and engagement heatmaps per lesson.
How do I grade assignments and give feedback?
Open Assignments → Submissions, review each submission, leave text/audio feedback, set a grade, and optionally request re‑submission.
4 · Monetization & Payments
What pricing models are available?

How do payouts work and what is the commission rate?
Teachers receive 80 % of net sales (after payment fees). Payouts are processed via PayPal or Stripe on the 15th of each month for balances above $50.
5 · Certificates & Gamification
How do I issue certificates?
Enable Certificates in the course settings and pick a template. A certificate is automatically generated once all required lessons and quizzes are completed.
6 · Policies & Support
Who owns the course content I upload?
You retain full intellectual‑property rights. By uploading you grant us a licence to host and deliver the materials to enrolled students.
